The Louis Renard bikini has been getting smaller and smaller even since then. A broad definition of that itsy bitsy tiny weeny’ as bra top and panties cut below the belly button. Thongs today only serve to remove the fabric and allow more skin to be kissed by the Sun's rays.Can I ever forget you: Marilyn, Gina, Brigitte and so many others? An early image of Marilyn Monroe does grace the print covers of Bikini

Volume 5 Brrr (Winter Fashion)
The season of Winter, varies greatly dependent to a large part on the distance from the equator. In addition to what could be described as bone chilling temperatures, there is a shortage of daylight and Vitamin D production.
The ‘Winter fashion’ photo essay is applicable to areas north or south of the 39th parallel. Not quite to the extreme of living near the poles but somewhere in between.
Both Fabric and functionality are important to fashion designers. The old natural standbys of wools, down and fleece and slowly being replaced by man made material. The goal is to stay both dry and warm.
The chosen images are what I imagine can help to keep you warm on a chilly night and that would likely have little to do with the fabric employed in the garments.

Charlotte Guttenberg got her first tattoo when eight years before reaching 65-old. Now Charlotte is the world's most tattooed female senior citizen and living in Florida.
That notoriety was achieved by being covered or Tattooed a mere 91.5 per cent of her body in ink. While her partner Chuck Helmke’s body is 93.75 per cent covered in tattoos. At the time of writing this, he lead the Guinness World Records 2017 to officially declare the couple the most tattooed senior citizen female and male, at that moment.
A chance meeting, also points to an unlikely romance, of all places in a tattoo parlour, in late 2006. Guttenberg was there to ink her first tattoo as a birthday present to herself following the death of her husband not an afficionado of body art. Helmke, his own wife had died a month earlier, had popped into the parlour to see friends. Love took a year to work its charms after Chuck was asked by the tattoo artist to comfort Guttenberg who was showing signs of discomfort during the long session.

This photo-essay hearkens back to that era with examples of b&w tattoos or ink.Quite possibly, about the same time that man discovered fire, the resulting charcoal could have been used for a black pigmentation for resulting tattoos. In the early start, skin was either cut, scratched or poke with a sharp point. The resulting lesions formed a design to which powdered charcoal was added to provide greater definition to the work of art.
Later on plants, colored earths and other sources were used to add some further definition in terms of additional colors and shading
